Loves Day 2

Okay since we are doing our loves in honor of "the love month," I am going to do the obvious and say I Love Valentine's Day. I know people say it is too commercialized, but really, if we didn't have a special day to let others know how much we love them, would we make the special effort to tell them in a special way, like we do on Valentines day? I have a great husband but even he needs a little help in the romantic department.:) Plus it happens to be my birthday, so I can rightfully say it is my favorite holiday! I am happy to know I can share it with the most wonderful man in my life. I think a great love should always be celebrated!

February Loves

I got the invite to share my loves in the month of February. Fun idea and fun to see other's loves too!

I love my memory foam mattress! I couldn't live without it, especially during pregnancy. It molds to my big prego body so I don't have to toss and turn as much. Also, Jared has had a snoring issue lately and to be so kind to me, he is sleeping on the couch so I can have a decent night's sleep. So I am really loving having my king sized mattress all to myself!

Late is better than never!

Ok, it is Jan 30th, and I am finally posting Christmas pics, but I am relieved I posted it in the month of January! We are supposed to have the Christmas spirit all year long anyway aren't we?

Anything I can do to help

A friend of mine and her husband have been trying many years and many different avenues to make a family. The latest one was adoption through LDS services. A couple of months ago, after much prayer and fasting, they were so happy to hear that they had been chosen by a single lady from Idaho to adopt her unborn child. I was so happy to hear that news, and then to hear that this mother was due on the same day I was! We were both going to have a precious baby at the same time. I just found out yesterday that the birth mother has changed her mind. Such devastating news for my friends. So not knowing how I can help, I told her that I would put a link from my blog to her website, because something good can come from just getting the word out. Those of us who have children can relate to the fulfillment of being a mommy. I want to help her achieve this too. Please help any way you can, just by keeping an ear out if you know anyone in this particular situation, or even posting a link on your blog. I know they would appreciate any help given. I am so blessed!

My pregnancy pains have gotten pretty severe in the last few days. The kids have the day off school today, so I decided to stay in bed to take it easy and give my joints a rest. The next thing I know in walks Cara, Logan and Scottie carrying a bowl of cereal, toast and a glass of orange juice. They are so kind. Cara tells me that she is going to do everything I normally do so that I can just rest. She even wrote up a scheduale for all the things she is going to do today, including at 10:15 when wants to massage my feet and paint my toenails! I may have only one girl, but she is the most precious girl in my world.

A little this and that.

Cara's new favorite hair do. She asked me to buy her curlers to sleep in so she can have curly hair. I think it turned out quite cute!

Just another moment of fun times with Dad! I don't know what he is going to do when we have a fourth, there isn't much room left to give another a piggy back ride! But I am sure he'll figure it out.:)
