Anything I can do to help
A friend of mine and her husband have been trying many years and many different avenues to make a family. The latest one was adoption through LDS services. A couple of months ago, after much prayer and fasting, they were so happy to hear that they had been chosen by a single lady from Idaho to adopt her unborn child. I was so happy to hear that news, and then to hear that this mother was due on the same day I was! We were both going to have a precious baby at the same time. I just found out yesterday that the birth mother has changed her mind. Such devastating news for my friends. So not knowing how I can help, I told her that I would put a link from my blog to her website, because something good can come from just getting the word out. Those of us who have children can relate to the fulfillment of being a mommy. I want to help her achieve this too. Please help any way you can, just by keeping an ear out if you know anyone in this particular situation, or even posting a link on your blog. I know they would appreciate any help given. I couldn't help but cry when I read that. I went to your friends website and just was able to relate to her emotions sooo much. Josh and I have been trying for 3 yrs and having the same issues -been through medical procedures, IUI etc. For me, it was just nice to know I'm not the only one going through this :) We are actually looking at adopting too. I will put their website on my blog. Thanks for sharing :)
Good luck to them. Remember that story that I put on my blog a while ago? "Welcome to Holland!" That totally apply's to their life story.
