I am going through a pretty tough week and it's only Wednesday. First, I have been having headaches for the last six months, pretty much everyday. I have seen three doctors, with no relief, and now have an appointment with a neurologist on Friday. One of my doctors sent me for a traumatic MRI this morning, (found out I don't like enclosed spaces!). So now I am waiting for Friday to see what the results are of that. Hopefully uneventful. Till then I wait.
Second thing, yesterday I found out that my permanent birth control(Essure- google that if you want to know what it is), was a 50% failure. After waiting three months for my body to produce scar tissue around the devices, I went to have it x-rayed. I was put through a very traumatic x-ray where they inflate my uterus with a solution, with no numbing or pain medicine, painfully uncomfortable! Having suffered through that whole ordeal just to find out that not only had one of them not scarred over like it should have, it somehow dislodged and is now floating in my abdomen! I went to the OBGYN today and he said that he has NEVER seen this happen.(Lucky me I won the lottery!)And now I have to go through surgery to have my tube tied and the object hopefully removed. If he can't find it, he is just going to leave it there. Nice.
So needless to say I am pretty traumatized after the last three days, and it's not over yet. I am handling it all pretty well because it is all out of my hands. I trust my doctors and trust that they will do what's best for me. And I trust the Lord. It is all in His hands. And I know that He is aware of me. I have already seen in this trial His tender mercies several times over, and for that I am grateful.

Sorry you don't feel good. Have you tried a Chiropractor for your headaches? I wouldn't want to live without one, they are especially helpful when I'm pregnant. I've avoided lots of medication a doctor would want to give me by going to one. Good luck.

Michelle! First of all it is nice to hear from you! Great suprise! One of those doctors I spoke about is a Chiropractor. He has tried everything on me even actupuncture. No results.:( Thanks for thinking of me though! Keep in touch!

Was the uterus test the radioactive dye test? I had that one done and it hurt like the dickens! We'll pray for you!

That same thing happened to Adrian Hinton!!! Call her-- she had the surgery to get the darn thing out! Ugg! Hope you are feeling better soon! By the way I used to have headaches too and found out it was the sun-- it was so bright and really affected me. I got sun screens on the house and it helped butit was also allergies. Now that we have moved they are extremely seldom. Good luck!
